The printer works fine with two other computers using the same wireless network. To install the HP Officejet 4500 driver, browse to the location where you have stored the downloaded driver file. Several times and this has not resolved the problem. Browse to the location where you want to store the driver file, and then click the Save button (the file is not likely to take more than a couple of seconds to download). I have unplugged and restarted everything I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer several times and this has not resolved the problem. I have gone to HP.com to be sure I have the latest software for this printer installed in my computer and HP says I do. When I try to print a document from an application (Word), I first get a message saying Microsoft cannot print due to a "problem with the current printer setup." And then a message saying "Word cannot print. In device manager, I get a message saying "no drivers are installed for this device." In the control panel for devices and printers, the printer appears as the default printer, but I get a message saying the printer is "not connected." I recently installed Windows 10 and my printer worked fine for a couple of weeks. My printer and my computer are both connected to a wireless network using a Cisco router. I have an ASUS notebook computer from 2006.
